Lest They Be Forgotten - TEXAS
This, the eleventh film in the series, "Lest They Be Forgotten - TEXAS," is a moving tribute to the veterans in the Brenham, Texas area by award winning filmmaker, Larry Cappetto. Like the other films in the documentary series this story features the brave men and women of Washington County, Texas who served our country during World War II, Korea and Vietnam. The veterans recount their personal experiences in the defense of our freedoms during the wars of the 20th century. Each veteran provides a snapshot of what it was like to be part of history.
Hear first-hand accounts from D-Day, June 6, 1944; The Battle of the Bulge (1945), the bloodiest land battle of WWII; The Chosin Reservoir and fighting in the bitter cold of Korea (1950/1951); as well as fighting in the steamy, hot jungles of Vietnam.
