Richard P. ''Bud'' Schwier, age 81, of Clarendon Hills, beloved husband of Dolores, nee Koss; loving father of Cynthia Koss, Richard Schwier Jr., Philip (Deborah) Schwier and Gail (Bert) Barbieri; devoted brother of Frank (Delois) Schwier, Robert (Jean) Schwier, Dorthea (the late Martin) Berusch, the late Lillian (the late Robert) Seaton, Beatrice (the late Paul) Shuminas, Esther (the late Donald) Kreft and Francine (Raymond) Noetzel; cherished grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of three; fond uncle of many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Masonary Bricklayers Union Local #21 for over 50 years and a Veteran of World War II. Visitation Sunday 2 to 9 p.m. at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main St., Downers Grove, IL 60515. Lying in state Monday from 10 a.m. until time of Service 11 a.m. at St. Paul United Church of Christ, 5739 Dunham Rd., Downers Grove, IL 60516. Interment private.
