Jack Leaming, 93, of Las Vegas, passed away Aug. 5, 2013. He was born in Philadelphia. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater, during which time he was taken prisoner. Jack is survived by his children, Patricia McMahon of San Diego, Bonnie Perunovich of Chula Vista, Calif., Loretta Leaming-DeMiguel of Livermore, Calif., and Curtis R. Leaming of Newman, Calif.; sister, Gladys Leaming of Wildwood, N.J.; grandchildren, Suzanne Cusmano, Christine Moore, Tyler Moore, Sarah Moore, Laura Reyes, Darin Perunovich, Matthew Perunovich, Gerard DeMiguel and Maxine DeMiguel; great-grandchildren, Damian Reyes, Christian Reyes, Diana Reyes, Lilia Perunovich and Kai Perunovich. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146. Burial following, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
