EVA JANE BOLENTS - OBITUARY

September 5, 1921 - July 27, 2017

Eva Jane Bolents, a resident of EI Paso, TX (formerly of Clearfield, PA and Las Cruces, NM) passed away on July 27, 2017 at the age of 95. She was a strong, educated, and independent woman. Eva Jane was born on Sept. 5, 1921 to John J. and Mary M. Savel in Patton, PA. Eva Jane became a Registered Nurse and soon joined the Navy during the World War II era. She was an operating nurse in Philadelphia, PA and was then stationed in Guam. She went on to graduate from Indiana State University of PA., with an education degree, and taught Pediatric Nursing for many years. Eva Jane was preceded in death by her husband John P. Bolents. She is survived by their three children, Michael, Thomas (Jacqueline), and Mary Margaret. Eva Jane had three grandchildren Vanessa (Shawn), Teresa (Christopher), and Kevin (Elizabeth). She also left behind three great grandchildren, Saoirse, Stanley, and Dolores Rose. A reception will be held at Royal Estates Retirement Home at 435 S. Mesa Hills Dr. on July 31 at 1:30 pm. A private burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Las Cruces, NM.
